Blood Drive / Benefit BBQBlood Drive / Benefit BBQ

REMINDER!!!

 
Tuesday, February 9th from 9am - 2pm there will be another blood drive for Crystal Clark and her son at the EMS office at the Bartow Airbase.
 
Along with the blood drive there will be BBQ sandwiches with baked beans and cole slaw and drink for $5 to help raise some money for Crystal and her son. 
 
If you are working on February 9th, in the Bartow, Eagle Lake or Winter Haven area, and you want to participate in the fundraiser by buying lunch, arrangements can be made for delivery.  We will need orders placed by Monday, February 8th.  You can email me your name, what station to be delivered to and how many.

Adults age 65 and older are at a higher risk of death from fire than any other age group. According to the USFA report Fire in the United States Fifteenth Edition, older adults account for approximately 32 percent of all fire deaths. Fire prevention and planning are key elements in reducing the risk of deaths and injuries from fire. In the event of a fire, remember that every second counts, so you and your family must always be prepared.

 The Polk County Fire Rescue Division is the fire service branch of the Polk County Public Safety Department, which is part of the Polk County Board of County Commissioners.   We provide fire and rescue services for the unicorporated portions of Polk County through our network of 31 fire stations and a series of interlocal agreements with most of the 17 municipalities here in Polk. These interlocal agreements exist in the form of Automatic Aid, Mutual Aid, and contracted service.  We also provide service for the City of Eagle Lake, the City of Polk City, the City of Mulberry, the Town of Lake Hamilton, and the Town of Hillcrest Heights.
