Station 220 houses Engine 221 and is our newest station. The station serves the area along US Highway 27, south of Interstate 4.  Station 220 is operating out of a leased modular unit in the rear parking lot of Outpost 27, a visitor welcoming center.  This site will continue to serve as a temporary fire station until site work has been completed at the permanent location on Cottonwood Drive, about 1.5 miles to the south.  Construction of the new Cottonwood fire station is currently planned for sometime in 2010.
