Station 460 also houses Polk EMS' ALS-22 (Ambulance). It is one of two special operations stations. All career members are cross trained as Hazardous Materials Technicians and Urban Search and Rescue (USAR). The City of Eagle Lake contracts with our department to provide fire service to the city. This long-term interlocal agreement has proven to be a “win-win“ situation for the city and county residents.
