Station 970 houses Engine 971 and is operated by a contingent of volunteer firefighers.  Thier primary coverage area includes the Westgate Resorts River Ranch and a portion of Highway 60 near the Polk / Osceola County lines. Station 970 is backed up by Station 960 at Indian Lake Estates.
