Polk County Fire-Rescue Fire Explorer Post 522 is a youth organization sponsored by Polk County Fire-Rescue and chartered under the Boy Scouts of America. Polk County Fire-Rescue is designated as the Chartered Organization.

Membership shall be open to all young adults at least 14 years of age that has completed the eighth grade or is 15 years of age and not yet 21.
