The Citizen’s Information Line (CIL) phone number has been changed.  Residents needing assistance with general information should call 863-401-2234.  If you dial the old number, you will be directed to a recorded message that will provide you with the new number.

Tigers Baseball Be Ready Night

On June 13th Lakeland Tigers will host the Be Ready Campaign. This is a partnership between Minor League Baseball and FEMA to encourage citizans to be ready for disasters. There is a $10 entrance fee that covers the cost of the game and all you can eat. CERT will man a information table. All CERT members are encouraged to attend.

 
Hurricane Expo

Polk County will host the annual Hurricane Expo on June 2nd 2012. The expo will be held at the Lake Eva complex in Haines City, Florida located at  555 Ledwith Ave. CERT will have an information table to inform citizans about CERT and training oppurtunities.
